You know who’s your biggest enemy??? Any guesses?
Let me assure you whoever came to your mind at that thought is actually not your biggest enemy. Now, you may ask, “How Can I say that?”. Well, just have a little faith because your biggest enemy is not far away. It’s closer than you think it can be. It’s right within you. How?
That sneaky little irritating voice in your head which always have the conflicting thoughts also known as our conscious- that is our true enemy.
We’re always having a conflict in thoughts because it feels like there is a fight going on in our own self. For example, when you’re dying to eat chocolate but a voice keeps nagging you about how much carbs it contains.
Apparently, we’re always having a fight with our inner self- no matter what. But if we think deep maybe our own conscious is actually our best friend that true friend which is not afraid of telling us that we’re wrong.
Our conscious gives us a way of life, it gives us honest opinions which are rare from other people because people have stopped giving honest opinions a long time ago.
Ask yourself, when was the last time, you actually gave someone an honest opinion?
To be honest, I don’t think we do that very often anymore. It has two reasons, first; we don’t want to appreciate someone to boost up their confidence because that will mean they will get ahead if us, second; even if we do give honest opinion people won’t really believe us because they think we’re just playing with them.
One way or another, we always end up being that person who doesn’t appreciate others. Coming back to the conscious, I believe if you don’t have a voice in your head telling you that what you’re doing is wrong or you shouldn’t be doing it then it’s quite clear that we’ve lost ourselves truly.
Our actions can be of any kind good or bad but if those actions are questioned by our own selves then we can’t expect ourselves to be a good person. Once that voice in your head is dead, consider yourself dead not physically but morally.
Our conscious is like a small light in our head which tells us when we’re losing our way.
